The essence of this fantastic album is the track "Consume the Heart". You recognize the melodies and vocal lines of the "Church of the cosmic Skull". Here, the focus were put on the lyrics and the voice, which both were mixed quite in front of the instruments. If you get in Bill Fisher´s voice you may found yourself between Billy Joel or Elton John when both started their career. This record and music is far from being Stoner or Fuzz or Desert; it´s a timeless stretch between early 70´s singer/songwriter-style and progressive rock from the same decade. And it´s not Church of the Cosmic Skull, actually it´s a record for autumn or winter chimney fire with a 16 year old Lagavulin and your sweatheart on your side.
