Ze Germans chose a fitting band name in my opinion, consisting of part Silvermachine and part Jefferson Starship or even Ship of Fools by The Doors. And you can find these influences in their music.
The opener *Kingdom Of Decay* starts softly, with Jan Gehrmann's hypnotic bass and Tim Schröter's groove leading into Nils Kock's melodic guitar and velvety vocals. The song grows heavier after the second chorus, with fuzz guitars adding weight and a stoner rock outro. *Beast* follows, blending heavy staccato beats with dystopian guitar lines. The song builds to a dark, doomy riff, leading to an intense finish with a screaming solo. *Nevermore* brings classic stoner rock, contrasting a simple riff with an explosive, apocalyptic chorus. The final track, *War Is Over*, shifts into dreamy, Pink Floyd-esque psychedelia with soft vocals and a grand, space rock climax. Overall, *Kingdom Of Decay* is a well-crafted debut, blending various influences into a cohesive, intriguing EP. The EP will be released at 22/11/2024.
