Six Months of Sun (SUI) - Ningen

In my opinion, the Swiss band Six Months of Sun is, alongside the French band "The Necromancers", one of the most talented bands in terms of songwriting, technical skills and artwork. But somehow both bands seem to be happy with their status as semi-professional weekend bands. I don't understand why a band like Six Months of Sun puts more ideas into a 3 minute song than they do playing concerts. The previously released single "Ningen" also shows their ability on the instruments as well as in songwriting. Gojira is mentioned in the tags because the tapping is very reminiscent of the equally talented but probably better managed French band Gojira. It makes me very sad that a band writes such interesting and great songs and yet somehow its career doesn't progress. Yes, I'm angry about such a lot of wasted energy, time etc to write this challenging and interesting songs. What is missing to get this band on festivals in Germany throughout the summer? A fantastic song like "Ningen" with an almost sludge-like sound at the beginning, a break played at halftime that comes to a doom breakdown through a tapping storm, and I'm only at minute 2.22 of 3.33, because there's a riff-driven break that ends again in tapping accompanied by blast beats. Is that enough to impress the interested listener?

Creatures sounds and grooves almost better. But...What can I say?
