I really like the instrumental parts of each every "Elder" song although they take about ten minutes. Surya from Cadiz, Spain, are the compact version of Elder playing organic and harmonic riffs with a warm tone between 3 and 8 minutes and they have a powerful voice which fits perfect to their music. BER is the short for Berlin Airport and for the rest of ze Germans, Berlin is a country for itself. I love Elder on stage and since 2014 I have managed not to pay too much attention to the two minutes of singing in their 11-minute songs. What bothers me about Elder is the skills-oriented songs, i.e. everyone in the band gets to show what they can do. The songs sometimes rush from one highlight to the next and somehow it's a lot of work for nothing because nothing sticks after an Elder concert....

I like the instrumental parts of Elder, that means 9 of 11 minutes; I like their riffs, breaks, hooks, everthing what they play, since the very first time I saw them live in 2015. Their compatriots Deorbit hailing with incredible musical and compositional skills to create a waste varied of musical styles and references for an unpredictable songs. All of them consist of a high level played music and there is no highlight peaking out of this massive collection of interesting and good songs. Not...
