You can already hear the closeness to their compatriots Moonspell, but Sinistro have a classically trained singer in Priscila Da Costa, who needs opera arrangements and vocal lines to bring out her fantastic voice in Portuguese. The song "Elegia" is reminiscent of the best Paradise Lost moments like "No Hope Inside" or "An Eternity of Lies", only this band has a much better voice and probably a much better front(wo)man. The album will be released on October 4th, 2024 and I'm already excited...

Cammie Beverly, the voice of Oceans of Slumber, released her first solo single. Her warm voice reminds me on dark, melancholic Blues, the small and direct production reminds me on Rick Rubin´s work with Johnny Cash. It´s no Heavy Music at all, but it creates heavy and deep feelings

Some songs create associations which I have to express by my own creativity. I checked my Bandcamp algorithm and stumbled over King of None from Finland. After listening for 20 seconds or so I had these pictures in my head when I traveled for the first time through the Egyptian desert in 1990 and listened to "Wasteland" by "The Mission". "Lilith´s Lullaby" is the first single from the upcoming album "Amber Eyes", which will be released on march, 22rd 2024. This band managed it to put a lot of 20% of the music together, which I don´t like that much and created a song which I like for 100%.
